Humble Total War Bundle- Charities Close to Our Hearts

Humble Bundle welcomes us at Creative Assembly this week for a new Humble Total War Bundle loaded with thousands of hours of content.

As with all Humble Bundles, you can choose how your purchase dollars are allocated, between the developers, Humble Bundle and charity. This Bundle supports Willow Foundation, SpecialEffect, Royal Surrey Hospital, Walking with the Wounded (UK) and Boon Lotts Elephant Sanctuary (BLES).

The charities involved are very close to our heart.

We worked with Willow Foundation back in 2013 when we did ‘A special day for James’. James was told he was suffering from liver cancer and wouldn’t live much longer. The foundation got in touch with us as he was a passionate Total War fan and asked for a tour of the studio. He is now immortalized as a general in Total War: ROME II. The Royal Surrey Hospital took care of our dear friend and colleague Simon Franco who passed away last June. He was a Senior Programmer on Alien Isolation as well as having worked on many Total War games over his 10 year employment with us. The Royal Surrey County Hospital cared for Simon in his final days. We’re working to raise money with Special Effect this October as some of us at CA are going to take part in the Warrior Run.
Special Effect help people with disabilities by using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, they’re finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities. Read more about them here: http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/

Humble Total War Bundle runs now, for two weeks, and ends Tuesday 29th September at 11am PDT/6pm BST.
