Senior Animator

The Total War: Warhammer team is seeking for an experienced and exceptionally skilled gameplay animator who can create and implement believable creature animation from the Warhammer universe.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate outstanding all round creativity, artistic ability and imagination. They will be an accomplished animator with the ability to produce stunning work. This key person will possess highly developed creative and good technical ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create gameplay animations (locomotion, combat, idles, etc.) for use in-engine
  • Follow through with implementation of animations in-game
  • Work effectively with the riggers, gameplay designers and character artists
  • Work well within a small team
  • Must be proactive, be able to problem solve and communicate well with other departments

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

  • Experience dealing with in-game animations
  • Solid understanding of character timing, weight and believability
  • Strong hand-key animation skills for both human and creatures
  • Proficient in Maya or Motionbuilder
  • Experience in handling Motion capture data
  • One or more published AAA titles
