CREATIVE ASSEMBLY RECOGNISED AS INDUSTRY BEST PLACE TO WORK

July 12 2022 | Studio

Creative Assembly has been awarded a 2022 Best Place to Work Award in the annual Gamesindustry.Biz event, which seeks to recognise the best UK games studios to work for.

2022 marks the sixth year in a row that Creative Assembly has won an award - and with over 800 employees it is the largest UK studio to receive recognition.

In 2022 Creative Assembly has been awarded:

  • The Best Place to Work Award for a large studio in the UK Video Games Industry, scoring highly through anonymous staff surveys and winning a Gamesindustry.Biz coveted Best Places badge.

  • The Education Award for the studio’s outreach programme, The Legacy Project, which aims to address inequalities in society through access to technology and education. In 2021 this programme provided over £30k in technology and launched a new scholarship programme to students with Teesside University.

This year more than 90 UK studios took part. They are predominately based on employee survey responses and as such provide a comprehensive view.  You can read about the judging process here.

In previous year’s CA has won awards for Best Education, Best CSR, Best Boss for Studio Director, Gareth Edmondson, and the ‘Putting the G Into Gaming’ diversity award for Head of Talent, Emma Smith.
