Creative Assembly has been awarded several Best Place to Work Awards in the annual Gamesindustry.Biz event, which seeks to recognise the best UK games studios to work for.
2021 marks the fifth year in a row that Creative Assembly has won an award - and with over 800 employees it is the largest UK studio to receive recognition.
Creative Assembly has been awarded:
- The Best Place to Work Award for a large studio in the UK Video Games Industry, scoring highly through anonymous staff surveys and winning a Gamesindustry.Biz coveted Best Places badge.
- The Community Social Responsibility Award for the studio’s outreach programme, The Legacy Project, which aims to address inequalities in society through access to technology and education. In 2021 this programme provided over £30k in technology and launched a new scholarship programme to students-in-need.
Creative Assembly’s Head of Talent, Emma Smith, has also been awarded the special ‘Putting the G Into Gaming’ diversity award for her work through the Legacy Project, and the studio was shortlisted for the Education Award and the Health and Wellbeing Award.
