To mark the end of Total War’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations, SEGA and Creative Assembly are excited to announce Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000. Set within the iconic science-fantasy setting created by Games Workshop, it represents a revolutionary new chapter in the award-winning strategy franchise. 

The game’s debut trailer was introduced at The Game Awards by Emmy-nominated actor and Warhammer 40,000 superfan, David Harbour (Stranger Things, Marvel Cinematic Universe), who will portray a mysterious, yet to-be-revealed character. Within it, the bleak but spectacular setting is on full display as mankind’s vast armies battle to protect their crumbling empire in a galaxy ravaged by unending war.

WAGE TOTAL WAR IN THE 41ST MILLENNIUM

For the first time, Total War steps into the far future, bringing its signature blend of strategic depth and cinematic warfare to the brutal, battle-scarred galaxy of Warhammer 40,000. Set within a vast galactic sandbox, players will forge a warpath across the stars, bending the galaxy to their will as they crusade through an age of relentless war and conquest.

The game sets out on an ambitious journey to create the ultimate strategy experience for the Warhammer 40,000 universe - one that will grow over time into a sprawling galactic battlefield, packed with iconic heroes, fearsome war machines, and richly-realized worlds.
