Creative Assembly (CA) is sponsoring the first ever AI and Games conference, which will take place on Friday 8th November at Goldsmiths University in London. The event will bring together 200 video game AI experts to learn, network and share insight about the topics shaping the agenda in the space.  Sessions from the conference will also be made available online post event to ensure that the entirety of the video games AI community can benefit from the event’s insights in the months and years to come.

You can find out more about the conference at https://www.aiandgamesconference.com/

Duygu Cakmak, Research & Development Director, CA said:

“There is a thriving video games AI community across the world but we know there are few events serving its need. Our long-term mission of the conference is to support AI and Games practitioners, up and coming talent and companies across the ecosystem, creating a sustainable space in which to share practical expertise for years to come.”

Dr Tommy Thompson, Founder of AI and Games, said:

"In recent years there’s been tremendous hype surrounding how AI impacts the video games industry that’s made it tough for people to understand what’s really happening in the space, and what issues game developers are actually facing. The AI and Games Conference aims to deliver an accessible and educational event for our community in the UK and EU that cuts through the noise.  By bringing together the experts in our field to talk openly about their work, we can help improve our collective understanding, and foster a stronger game AI community at a time when it is sorely needed.”

The sponsorship aligns with CA’s R&D work, which is focused on streamlining our development processes and workflows to provide our developers with tools to enhance their work quality and support their creativity.

Early bird tickets for the AI and Games conference have now gone on sale. Attendees can receive discounted access to the conference in November by purchasing a Professional, Industry or Student/Indie Developer pass by Friday 13th September here.
