CLIC Sargent was named Creative Assembly’s Charity of the Year for 2020 to 2021 through an annual studio-wide vote as part of the studio’s commitment to charity. CLIC Sargent are the UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. When cancer strikes young lives, CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health.
Elizabeth Lowrey, Strategic Partnerships Lead at CLIC Sargent said:
“CLIC Sargent provide families with practical, emotional and financial support when they need it most. Our social workers step in the minute the doctor says ‘it’s cancer’ to give vital support and our Homes from Home offer families a free place to stay nearby while their child is on treatment.
“This year has been hard for everyone but especially the young cancer patients and their families. We are so grateful to Creative Assembly for their invaluable support in helping us continue to be there for young people with cancer”
